Fly Away (also known as The Akiba Tape) is an unidentified citypop song originating from a cassette tape purchased from a thrift store in Akihabara, Japan.
In early 2000, user 渡る世間は敵ばかり posted a story on a Japanese forum, detailing how they came across a cassette tape without a label in an Akihabara Thrift Store. The tape was allegedly only around 20 minutes in length and contained this song and nothing else. They provided a short sample from the tape.
In 2011, the full song was later re-uploaded to Nico-Nico Douga (a Japanese video sharing site) anonymously and gained further popularity, while the original upload was mysteriously deleted.

FAR AWAY
FLY AWAY
FAR AWAY
FLY AWAY
FLY AWAY
Chasing the wind, where are you heading? Sunset-colored dead leaves
There is no sound of a knock at the door
I sleep in a broken chair, the light is on outside the window
I dream of a strange city
"Goodbye", you don’t say
Went far away with a sad smile
Fly away to a faraway land
The stars hang in the night sky as we depart
Before you let the bluebird fly away, gently touch its wings with your fingers
Look up at the sky, birds are flying
Goodbye, you go away
Your gentle eyes are far away
Fly away to a faraway land
On the night of your departure
Fly away to a faraway land…
