Hunters And Prey is a placeholder name for an unidentified power metal song, originally shared via P2P services in the early 2000s.
The song was first mentioned on 31 January 2004 on Brazilian forum Cifraclub by user Paranoid. They said they had downloaded it from file sharing app Kazaa, where it was mislabeled as Hunters And Prey by Brazilian band Angra. No audio was provided, but they supplied lyrics, asking others if they knew who this mislabelled band was.
On 07 August 2011, the song was posted to YouTube by user M K. They didn’t provide any additional information about the songs origins.
Since then, various posts have been found, all claiming to have originally received the song via P2P services such as Kazaa.
On 28 April 2025, a slightly higher quality version of the song was found on P2P music sharing network, Soulseek, upload by user david3810. It included an albums worth of songs allegedly by Angra. All of the songs were actual Angra tracks, apart from Track 03, which was "Hunters And Prey". david3810 was asked if they knew where it came from, but they confirmed that they had no idea.

Angra
I've got a feeling of repetition
For a long time ago, and the things he said
Things we change, contradictions like the girl
With the rain
Again and again
The same old story
You've lived it hours before
Merciless
Still believe in excuses
Of the life they've used
To go high and higher
You only have to take the first step
To break it up, It's just a matter of time
To admit a crime
Be on the limit
There's so much to know, it will never be enough
Trust is a shame
Never lie
